Give Kids a Smile Program

The Give Kids a Smile (GKAS) Program under the auspices of ADA foundation. This cultural awareness program, which will eventually train hundreds of dental professionals to treat the growing Hispanic population with cultural sensitivity; with community outreach we are active participant in helping fight oral disease in the Hispanic community. With over 50 million US Hispanic residents, and over a quarter of them in poverty and lacking dental insurance, the times now to get active and advocate for the oral health of the Hispanic community in Massachusetts.
 

We have been organizing oral health fair and dental screening in Jamaica Plain, Roxbury, East Boston, Boston YMCA Chinatown, Latino for Waltham, etc. MHDA is the leader in advocating for optimum oral health of the Hispanic community.
 

Giving more than 500 dental screenings MHDA identify children in need through their participation in give a kid a smile (GKAS). Being the recipient of a Grant from GKAS to reach more local communities, our biggest satisfaction came from our community involvement, including helping underserved children and supporting the next generation of Hispanic dentists.
